ANIME & STREAMS

Live Anime Voice Translation for Windows

Watch un-subbed Japanese anime, VTuber streams, and Asian media live on Windows into English or 79 languages with a few seconds of latency and AI dubbing.

Real-Time Japanese Speech Recognition & AI Dubbing

VoxisLive processes Japanese system audio from browsers, media players or games. Speech detection runs on your own PC, the translated voice follows the speaker by a few seconds, and an optional caption overlay shows the line while it plays.

Setting Up a Watch Session on Windows

Anime audio behaves the same whether it comes from a browser stream, a VTuber feed or a local file in VLC, so the setup does not change with the source.

  1. Start the episode and let a line of dialogue play, so Windows has actually opened the output device.
  2. Open Voxis Live, choose Video / Game mode, and pick the language you want to hear from the 79 targets.
  3. Press Start. Nothing is installed into the player; Voxis reads the system mix through WASAPI loopback and sends it to the cloud model.
  4. Switch on the caption overlay if you want the line in text as well as in voice.

From there the Japanese track is lowered under a translated voice that follows the actor by a few seconds, and comes back up between lines. Speech detection and speaker-change labels are computed on your own CPU, so a two-character exchange does not collapse into one wall of text.

What It Will Not Do

Before you plan a whole season around it, here is exactly where the free tier and the app itself stop.

  • The free tier speaks 35 of the 79 languages. All 79 targets are translated on every plan, but only 35 of them carry a voice for free; the remaining 44 arrive as live captions you read rather than hear.
  • Desktop only. Voxis Live runs on Windows 10 version 2004 or newer; on an older build it falls back to classic loopback capture. It runs on Linux too, installed as a snap. There is no macOS version, so an episode watched on a Mac or a phone is out of reach.
  • Free time is capped per day. Ten minutes a day, plus a single fifteen-minute taste of the paid engine that you get once. A long series needs prepaid minutes, which never expire while your account is active.
