Refund Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This policy explains when and how you can get a refund for a Voxis purchase. It supplements our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, the Terms govern. The Service is operated by Davut Akça, an independent developer based in Türkiye.
1. 14-day right to withdraw
If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase, starting on the day of the purchase. To exercise it, contact us within that window (see "How to request a refund" below) — no reason is required.
2. How refunds are calculated
Voxis is supplied digitally and you can start translating immediately, so the usual cooling-off period is reduced in proportion to what you have already used. When you request a refund within the 14-day window, any translated minutes you have already consumed are deducted, calculated pro rata against the amount you paid; the remaining balance is refunded.
Example: you buy a plan or top-up that includes 600 minutes and have used 60 of them when you ask for a refund. We refund the price of the 540 unused minutes (90% of what you paid).
3. Subscriptions & cancellation
- Paid plans (Creator, Pro) are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Outside the 14-day withdrawal window, payments for a billing period already started are non-refundable, except where required by law or where the Service was faulty (see section 6). Cancelling does not generate a refund for the current period — you simply keep access until it ends.
4. One-time top-up packs
One-time minute top-up packs follow the same rule as section 2: within the 14-day window they are refundable minus any minutes already used, calculated pro rata. A pack whose minutes have been fully used is not refundable.
5. Free minutes
New accounts receive 10 free minutes on sign-up. Free minutes are provided at no charge, so there is nothing to refund for them.
6. Faulty or non-functioning service
If the Service does not work as described and we cannot resolve the problem within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of the 14-day window, as required by applicable consumer law. Machine translation is inherently imperfect, however — minor inaccuracies in translation output are not by themselves a fault that entitles you to a refund (see the disclaimer in our Terms).
7. Open-source build (BYOK)
The open-source build is free and uses your own Google Gemini API key. We do not charge you for it and therefore cannot refund anything for it. Any charges for API usage are billed to you directly by Google under Google's terms, and any refund of those must be sought from Google.
8. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. Processing usually takes a few business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not refund to a different account or by another method.
9. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] or use our contact page with the email address on your account and, if you have it, your payment receipt or order reference. We aim to respond within a few business days. Please contact us before opening a card chargeback — a chargeback can suspend your account while it is investigated, and most issues are faster to resolve directly.
10. Changes & statutory rights
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
