1. The service
VoxisLive is a real-time voice-translation software ecosystem provided across desktop software (Windows) and browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Chromium). VoxisLive is distributed as a managed service: we supply AI access and you use account minutes. A limited, source-available excerpt of the engine is separately published on GitHub for transparency; a previously-offered open-source / BYOK build has been discontinued and is no longer distributed, though Section 4.2 continues to govern any copy still in use. Translation relies on third-party AI providers (Google Gemini Live API and Alibaba Cloud Qwen Realtime API). By creating an account, downloading, or using VoxisLive desktop apps or browser extensions, you accept these Terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity on your account. Minimum age is 18, with the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
3. Minutes, billing and renewals
Paid usage is measured in translated minutes. Minute packs are one-time purchases added to your account instantly; pack minutes never expire while your account is active. Where a recurring plan is offered, it renews automatically through our third-party payment processor until cancelled in your account portal — cancellation stops future charges and access continues through the paid period. Every new account receives a one-time credit of 15 complimentary minutes of the standard managed voice; this credit does not renew. Beyond that credit, and beyond any purchased minutes, an account retains a free allowance of 10 translated minutes per day, delivered with an on-device voice; the allowance resets daily, does not accumulate, and has no cash value.
4. Refunds & Cancellation
Consumers have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for unused minutes. Because digital service performance begins immediately upon initiation of live translation, any minutes already consumed are non-refundable and deducted pro rata. See our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Acceptable use & Audio Consent Warranty
You must not resell or abuse the service or its quota; attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or bypass authentication, device limits, or billing measures; or use the service unlawfully. When using VoxisLive in Meeting Mode or capturing third-party audio, you expressly warrant that you have obtained all legally required consents from all call participants under applicable wiretapping, eavesdropping, and privacy laws. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoxisLive and its developers against any third-party claims, fines, or damages arising from your failure to obtain required audio consent.
6. Account Suspension, Banning & Termination Rights
VoxisLive reserves the absolute, unilateral right to suspend, restrict, block, or permanently terminate your account, API access, device access (device_hash), or IP address at any time, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, attempt to exploit billing controls, or use the service unlawfully. Upon account termination or blocking for breach, all unused minutes and credits are immediately forfeited without any right to refund or compensation.
7. Third-party dependencies
Translation (Google Cloud / Gemini, Alibaba Cloud / Qwen), payment processing, and email (Resend) operate under their respective providers' terms. If you use a previously obtained BYOK build, you are solely responsible for compliance with Google's or Alibaba's API terms and any charges incurred under your key.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Machine translation accuracy is not guaranteed; AI output may contain errors or hallucinations. Do not rely on VoxisLive for high-stakes, legal, medical, emergency, or safety-critical communication.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxisLive's total aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid to VoxisLive in the preceding 12 months (or $50 for free/legacy-BYOK users). Statutory consumer protections that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
10. Governing law & Contact
