• Voxis opens faster: the window appears before the audio devices are scanned, so a PC with a slow virtual audio device no longer waits 15–20 seconds, and Settings opens at once. The download is about 40% smaller.
• The translated voice now follows the loudness of what you're watching, so it stays clear over a loud video and a quiet film alike without touching the slider — and it no longer breaks off mid-sentence while the speaker pauses.
• “Skip” now skips only the sentence being spoken; when the voice falls far behind, a new “Jump to latest” button clears the backlog. A new “No sound?” checklist beside the sound check walks you through the usual causes.
• Settings › Translation: where a voice choice is offered, you can now pick a named voice (three female, three male) and listen to a sample first. • OBS captions now work with the Microsoft Store version: the caption files are in Documents\Voxis\OBS, they are created as soon as you turn the OBS switch on, and a new "Open folder" button takes you straight there.
• Meeting: Voxis now warns you when the other side can hear more than the translation — when Windows "Listen to this device" sends your own microphone into the virtual cable, or when your microphone picks up the translated voice from your speakers. Each card tells you how to fix it.

• Stop now works while Voxis is still connecting. Before, the button stayed grey until the session was fully up, so a slow connection had no way out; now Stop (or its hotkey) cancels the connection right away. Closing the window mid-connection also cleans up properly, so other apps' volume is no longer left turned down.
• In a Meeting, changing a setting mid-call restarts the session, and that used to hand your real microphone back to the call for a moment, so the other person heard your untranslated voice. Voxis now keeps the call on its virtual microphone through the restart, and the status line says the session is being renewed instead of "Stopped."
• If you bought the BYOK licence, Meeting mode now opens with your own API key; it was wrongly showing the paid-plan lock once the free minutes were used. The AI summary button now appears for BYOK too.
• Every section of the main window and of Settings has an ⓘ button that explains what it does and which setting most people want, and the buttons are bigger and easier to spot. The Dubbing Voice switch now says what it costs: the cloned voice starts a little later and talks a little longer, so leave it off for the shortest delay.

Version 1.0.90

• When a single stretch of speech ran long enough to fill several caption lines, only the first line carried its original-language text and the lines after it showed none. Voxis now spreads the original across all of those lines, sentence by sentence, so it stays beside the translation to the end. As before, only where the engine reports which sentence it translated.
• When the connection to the translation engine dropped mid-session, Voxis waited a full second before reconnecting and showed a raw technical error on the status line. A session that was working when it dropped now reconnects right away — about a second sooner — and the status line simply says the session is being renewed.
• Signing in with Google: the box for pasting the sign-in code now appears after 8 seconds instead of 20 when the browser does not hand the session back by itself, and pasting the code now confirms it was accepted — before, the panel kept asking you to finish in the browser even though the code had gone through.

Version 1.0.89

• The original-language line under each caption was matched to its translation by a fixed time estimate, so it often showed the previous sentence, and sometimes nothing at all. Where the engine reports which sentence it translated, Voxis now uses that instead. Measured on the same video with nothing else changed, the line caught up by a full sentence and is far steadier from one caption to the next. Languages where the engine does not report it are unchanged.
• Another way of hearing a sentence twice is closed. When the engine went quiet and the offline voice stepped in, the engine could pick up again just as the offline voice was ready to read the line, and both played it. Voxis now checks once more right before speaking and stays quiet if the engine has caught up.
• After buying minutes, the card you had just paid to remove stayed on screen until the next launch, because the app never re-read your balance when you came back from the browser. It now refreshes the moment you return, and the card closes by itself once the minutes are there.
• Settings now shows which account you're signed in with. New installations also start with Fast mode already on, so captions appear without waiting from the first session.

Version 1.0.88

• The on-screen text now has a look of its own: four styles (Voxis bar, Cinema, Minimal, High contrast), three text sizes and a choice of top or bottom of the screen, with a preview in Settings. Nothing changes until you pick one: the bar you have today is the Voxis bar, and it stays exactly as it was.
• Signing in with an address that was never confirmed answered with a plain "login failed". It now says the address is not confirmed yet and offers to send the confirmation email again.
• Meeting mode has always needed a virtual microphone (VB-CABLE) to start on Windows, but several places in the app said it was optional and that Meeting would run in listen-only without one. They now say what actually happens: without it, Meeting does not start. Video and game translation are unaffected. If the virtual microphone goes away during a meeting, the status line now says the outgoing direction is off and how to get two-way back, instead of describing it as a mode you chose.

Version 1.0.87

• Fixed hearing the same sentence twice. When the engine was slow to voice a sentence rather than actually silent, Voxis read it aloud with its offline voice and then played the engine's own audio for it as well. The offline voice now steps in only for the engine that really does go quiet.
• If Voxis ever closes unexpectedly, it now records what happened and which version it happened on, so those can be found and fixed instead of guessed at.
• When another app or a Windows setting is sending sound into the virtual cable Voxis uses for your voice, Voxis can't hear your call. It now says exactly that, names what to change, and gives you a button to check again once you've fixed it — instead of one line that scrolls away mid-meeting.

Version 1.0.86

• When Voxis can hear your computer but finds no speech in it — hold music, a silent game menu, a muted stream — it now tells you after 30 seconds instead of staying on "connected" with nothing to show. Video mode only; minutes are counted exactly as before.
• Free plan: on a day whose free minutes are already spent, choosing a language the trial voice cannot speak now brings up the daily card, with when your minutes come back, before the session starts — instead of a "quota used up" error meant for paid plans.

• The offline voice that reads the subtitles aloud when the engine goes quiet could not be downloaded on some PCs — either Windows was missing a root certificate, or your Documents folder lives on a different drive. Both are fixed, and when certificates are the cause the app now tells you to run Windows Update instead of retrying in silence.
• Meeting mode: the two language pickers now say exactly what they do — "I hear in" and "They hear in" — with a note that the spoken language is detected automatically. Speak whatever language you like: the other side hears theirs, you hear yours.
• Free plan: the note under a locked language now says the one-time Pro taste is what locks it, instead of calling the language paid-only.

• The offline voice that reads the subtitles aloud when the translation engine goes quiet now actually starts. It was announced in the last update but never ran — so if you sat through a silent stretch and heard nothing, that was why.
• And because it runs, so does the rest of that promise: your minutes are not counted while that voice is carrying the session.
• Free plan: while your one-time Pro taste is running, languages the trial voice cannot speak are no longer locked for videos. The free engine reads some of them aloud; the rest run subtitles-only — either way the Pro taste is not spent and stays for a language that can use it. In Meeting those languages stay locked.

• When the translation engine stops speaking while the subtitles keep coming, Voxis now reads them aloud itself with its offline voice, so you are not left in silence. It tells you it has switched and why, and switches back the moment the engine returns.
• Your minutes are not counted while that offline voice is carrying the session. The engine going quiet is our problem, not something you should pay for.

• Fixed: by default Voxis was giving the speech recognizer a built-in list of technology brand names. In a conversation that had nothing to do with those brands, one of the names could still land in your translation — a business call coming back with "Stripe" in a sentence that never contained it. That list is now off by default, and Voxis asks you once whether you want it — you can also change it anytime in Settings › Translation.
• Names on the list that are also ordinary words in English, Spanish or Italian have been removed, so it is safe to switch on when you need it. Terms you typed in yourself are unchanged.

Version 1.0.75

• Fixed: when Windows wasn't passing your PC's sound to Voxis, Meeting and Video mode could stay silent. Voxis now remembers which capture method works on that PC and uses it from the start of the next session, instead of rediscovering the problem every time.
• The sound check no longer sits on "waiting for a signal" when the standard capture method can't hear your PC — it now finds the audio another way and the meter moves.
• Sessions that went quiet part-way now recover on their own: subtitles arriving with no voice, and free-plan sessions that connected but never started translating. If the translated voice stops reaching your speakers, Voxis says so instead of going silent.
