Setting it up on a Twitch stream

Voxis Live listens to whatever Windows is already playing, so the stream can sit in a browser tab or in the desktop Twitch app and the steps do not change.

1. Open the stream and let it play at a comfortable volume.
2. Launch Voxis Live and pick Video and Game mode.
3. Set the target language you want to hear, then press Start.
4. Keep watching. Voxis Live captures the system audio through WASAPI loopback, with no virtual cable to install.

After a few seconds of speech, the streamer's original voice ducks down under a translated voice in your headphones, and the matching caption line appears on screen. Casters, hype moments and post-game interviews all arrive in your language, and when nobody is talking the stream comes back up to full volume.

What this mode does not do

Voxis Live is built for the viewer, not the broadcaster, and it helps to know the edges before you start.

• The translation plays only in your headphones. Video and Game mode is one way. It translates what you hear and sends nothing back, so the streamer and the chat never hear your translated voice and nothing you do shows up in the broadcast.
• Not every language gets a voice on the free tier. All 79 target languages are translated, and 35 of them are spoken aloud. For the other 44, the translation arrives as live on-screen captions instead of speech.
• Windows and Linux only. There is no macOS version; on Linux, Voxis Live installs as a snap. Windows 10 version 2004 and newer get the process-exclude capture that stops Voxis Live from hearing its own translated voice; older builds still work through classic loopback capture instead.
